Energy Ministry: No license to Bunkers International
By Darcel Choy Tuesday, September 18 2012 THE Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs yesterday reiterated that no license conditional, provisional or otherwise has been awarded to Bunkers International or any subsidiary of the company. In a statement yesterday, the ministry said to avoid any doubt, this clarification was also communicated in writing to the principals of Bunkers Oil Trinidad and Tobago Limited, the subsidiary of Bunkers International. The statement was in response to requests made by president general of Oilfields Workers’ Trade Union (OWTU) in an address to the nation on Sunday.
