The Communication Workers’ Union (CWU) delivered a signed petition to the Minister of Public Utilities seeking his intervention in the TSTT Medical Plan impasse.

Operations at Barbados-based low-fares airline REDjet remain suspended today but employees have expressed hope that a staff meeting scheduled for today would shed some light on the company’s future.

THE National Workers Union (NWU) yesterday called on the Government to create a minimum floor of rights for all workers, even outside of agreements reached by collective bargaining, in a statement titled, “NWU calls for legislation to protect workers”.
