THE Ministry of Energy has been restricting sale of diesel fuel to owners of large fishing vessels following last year September’s bunkering bust at Sea Lots, Port-of-Spain, in which government claimed it lost $1.5 billion in the illegal sale of 90,000 gallons of diesel.

Health Minister Dr Fuad Khan believes that the bed shortage at the San Fernando General Hospital can be solved once patients who are not ill are discharged at a faster rate.
