THE Caribbean Procurement Institute (CPI) will host the Third Caribbean Public Procurement (Law and Practice) Conference 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port-of-Spain on October 1 and 2. The conference will be opened by Finance and Economy Minister Larry Howai.

In a statement, the CPI said this year’s conference is entitled “Beyond Compliance: Ethics, efficiency and e-business.”

The CPI said the conference will focus heavily on business ethics, anti-fraud and compliance and the use of technology through e-business applications including on premises, cloud and mixed model.

Participants will be brought to the cutting edge of procurement industry knowledge and best in class compliance and e-procurement solutions.
