THERE was a very small, almost scanty turnout of people and bands at yesterday’s J’Ouvert celebration in Arouca, but in Tunapuna it was the total opposite as there was hardly space for revellers and supporters to pass on the relatively large Eastern Main Road in front the main judging point at the Magistrate’s Court.

The finals of the Senior Carnival Queen competition took place on Sunday at the Queen’s Park Savannah during the annual Dimanche Gras show.
