DIMANCHE Gras 2013 will be produced by the creative team of Unlimited Functions led by Derrick Lewis of Island People Mas.

In the National Carnival Commission’s (NCC) media bulletin, NCC chairwoman Allison Demas said she was very excited about the new Dimanche Gras format, which she said, “will showcase TT Carnival and demonstrate to the world our excellence in mas, calypso and pan.”

She said the event would be a fitting start to Carnival with lots of “lagniappe elements” and was not to be missed. When Lewis was contacted yesterday he said was honoured to be a part of such a great event.
