A 19-year-old man yesterday hung himself at La Horquetta Police Station. He has been identified as Trevor Peters, of Santa Cruz Old Road, Santa Cruz.

Reports are that Peters had been detained at the station, pending an identification parade.

However, his limp body was discovered at about 1 pm yesterday.

Police said the young man used his own jersey to commit the act.

La Horquetta police are investigating.
