MISSING TEEN: Kezia Charles who went missing on Friday morning. She attends Bishop Anstey Girls High School, Port-of-Spain....

Carol Charles, the mother of a missing 14-year-old Bishop Anstey High School student, Saturday night sent out a tearful appeal to her daughter Kezia Charles, to return home.

In her plea Charles cried, “Kezia please come home. We love you no matter what the circumstances.”

Kezia, a Form 2 student, went missing just after 8 am on Friday morning.

Charles told Newsday, she and Kezia were at her place of work on Edward Street, Port-of-Spain, when they had a disagreement. The concerned mother said Kezia then left. She never returned.

“I thought she went to the bathroom,” Charles said, “then she never came back.”

Charles did not reveal what was the subject of the argument.

However a supportive relative said, “We are willing to accept her whatever her circumstances are.”

Charles said, this was the first time Kezia ever behaved in this manner, and wanted her “precious daughter” to know that “she is loved no matter what.”

The distraught mother explained that she spent several hours calling the homes of friends and family but to no avail.

She is asking anyone with information on Kezia to please contact the nearest police station.
