Undertakers remove the body of Glendon Holder, 22, who was shot dead at Woods Alley, Never Dirty, Morvant early yesterday. ...

Two murders, one in Arima and the other in Morvant, yesterday pushed the murder toll to 492 for the year thus far.

The first murder occurred at about 3.30 am yesterday at the corner of Henry Street and Cocorite Road, Arima.

Reports reveal that at about 3.30 am several gunshots were heard outside Flavours Bar, and when a check was made Keith Mollineau, 29, of Sanchez Street, Arima was found lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.

The unemployed man was seen liming at the said bar before being shot.

Police investigators believe that Mollineau was targeted by his killer, who ambushed him as he left the bar.

Police said that Mollineau did not have a criminal record, but believed that his killing was revenge related.

In the other murder several gunshots were heard at Woods Alley, Never Dirty, Morvant at about 6 am yesterday.

When residents of the area made a check, they found the bullet riddled body of 22-year-old Glendon Holder, lying in a track in a pool of blood.

Officers of the Special Anti Crime Unit, accompanied by a K-9 dog went to the scene and carried out a search for clues. The body was ordered removed by a District Medical Officer. Police investigators told Newsday that Holder was known to the police and was reported to be the head of the Never Dirty gang. Police expect reprisal killings as a result of his murder. When Newsday visited the area yesterday, several associates of Holder appeared shocked over the killing and were placed under surveillance by officers of the Special Anti-Crime Unit of Trinidad and Tobago.
