Latoya Woods, Miss Trinidad and Tobago - Universe 2010, models the "Colours of Life" shirts....

IN SUPPORT of the fight against cancer, MSquared, recently launched the “Colours of Life” shirts which were designed by local fashion icon, Meiling and are available at all Micles stores nationwide. All proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go towards the Cancer Treatment Foundation, helping persons in need of assistance with their cancer treatment.

MSquared designs are always simple and classic yet trendy and appealing to women of all ages. The “Colours of Life” designs feature different colours representing the different kinds of cancers.

GOLD - CHILDHOOD

PLUM - CAREGIVERS

LAVENDER - GYNECOLOGICAL

LIGHT BLUE - PROSTATE

LIME GREEN - LYMPHOMA

TEAL - OVARIAN

This initiative is welcomed by the Cancer Treatment Foundation as each year a significant number of persons in Trinidad and Tobago is diagnosed with cancer.

Founded in 2007, the Foundation assists all needy persons of Trinidad and Tobago with access to treatment and care in their fight against cancer, thereby providing hope and improving their quality of life. Resources are mobilized towards providing deserving persons afflicted with cancer, treatment and care that are adequate, appropriate and safe.

Officials of the Cancer Treatment Foundation say they are pleased to be partnering with Meiling and Micles in this fundraising venture. They are also delighted that Latoya Woods, Miss Trinidad and Tobago - Universe 2010, took time off from her busy schedule to be part of this worthwhile cause by wearing the “Colours of Life” shirts for its launch.
