A 40-YEAR-OLD man appeared yesterday before a Justice of the Peace in the San Fernando Magistrates’ Court charged with 31 counts of indecent assault on a 14-year-old girl. The man is to appear before a magistrate today.

The man, of Victoria Village in San Fernando, was arrested at his home and also charged with one count of rape. He was also charged with 31 counts of indecent assault. The charges were laid by PC Donald Snaggs of Ste Madeleine Police Station.

The charges stemmed from allegations made by the girl between September and November of last year.
