INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into a shooting incident on Saturday in Diego Martin which left one man dead and another wounded.

Kendell Robinson, 20, became the 94th person murdered this year when he was pronounced dead on arrival at the Port-of-Spain General Hospital moments after he was shot while liming with another man at Factory Road in Diego Martin.

The other man who was shot in the leg during the attack, remains hospitalised at Port-of-Spain General Hospital in stable condition.

Reports are that about midday on Saturday, Robinson of Factory Road was liming with his friend when gunmen ran up to them and opened fire before running off.

Investigators believe the killing was gang related. Homicide Investigations Bureau detectives Sgt Michael Veronique, Ag Cpl Lodha and WPC Cuffie visited the scene and spoke to several persons.

Up to late yesterday, no arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
