LIKE TRIBE masqueraders, Tribe Carnival Souvenir Magazine plays an important role in bringing Trinidad and Tobago Tribe Carnival (the band) to life.

This year, the souvenir magazine, the fifth in the series, features the presentation “The Secret of Silk” which takes its masqueraders back in time and allows them to experience the multi-millennia journey of silk.

“Travelling through Asia, the Mediterranean, Africa and Europe with the experience of the Tribe team, the magazine takes readers on an altered state of consciousness “palancing” through the streets of Port-of-Spain”.

Captured in more than 1200 colour photographs, we relive the Tribe experience, section by section, with the added attraction of the fold-out centre spread of Ms. TT Universe 2010 La Toya Woods and second runner-up Sarah Radday.

Now on sale at selected stores and shops, the 100 plus page magazine embarks on a journey which started at the band launch in July 2009 ending with the last palance on Carnival Tuesday.

During the journey, the publication “makes stops” at Miami Ignite, ICE, One Fete, Blue Flame, Red Ants Pan Posse, Tribe Thursday Ignite and of course Red Ants J’Ouvert “Influantza”.

These fond memories and memorable moments are captured through the lenses of the team of professional photographers.
