THE STRI Sevak Sabha Inc is a charitable, non-profit women’s service organisation, established in 1953 and Incorporated in 1970 by Act of Parliament.

This group contributes to many charitable causes such as offering a wide range of services to those with life threatening diseases, low-income earners, needy students, the physically challenged, orphans and natural disaster victims.

Medical clinics and social and cultural events are also hosted by this women’s organisation.

This year, the Stri Sevak Sabha Inc will be hosting its second annual Bhajan Mala — a “garland” of 108 religious songs, on March 28, at the Krishna Mandir, Todd Street, San Fernando, from 7 am to 4:30 pm. This event will help raise funds for facilitating and providing assistance to persons in need of prosthetics amongst other needy causes.

Several very talented and professional singers will be participating in this Bhajan Mala event and many persons from throughout the country are expected to be present. Persons are free to attend and enjoy this uplifting experience.
