Mango mania
Wednesday, July 28 2010 Mangoes reigned last Sunday, at the Trinidad and Tobago Mango Festival. In its second year running, the Trinidad and Tobago Mango Festival, under the auspices of the Network of Rural Women Producers (NRWP) of Trinidad and Tobago and co-organised by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), not only focussed on promoting the use of mangoes as an avenue for generating income as an alternative livelihood, but was also the perfect environment for families to spend the day, learning about over 40 varieties of mangoes.
