SINGER Sangeeta Ramlal joins Dion Dookie and Rakesh Nanhoo as the three finalists selected so far for Mastana Bahar 2010.

In all, 12 contestants will make it to the final round of the competition.

Her winning renditon of a song originally done by Lata Mangeshwar, “Mere Pyar” earned her first place in last week’s competition.

Another singer, Bharat Singh, placed second while the Tri Devi Dancers placed third.

The grand finals of the popular television talent show takes place in November.

The contestants in this week’s semi-final show are Melissa Maraj, Amela Sookdeo, Mohan Rampersad, Dave Ganesh, Kishore Ramdeo, The Rampersad Dance Academy, Imtiaz Ali, Lalchan Rama, The Indipop Jalwa Dancers, and Anthony Charles. Music will be provided by PVC Ceiling Company Rampersad Brothers Orchestra and the venue for the show is the Rampersad Brothers Ranch at Raju Trace, Penal.

The jackpot for this week’s National Flour Mills Pick-a-Pan is now $1,100.
