THE PRODUCTION team for the Coca Cola Youth Champs, the annual talent competition hosted by the National Council for Indian Culture (NCIC), is inviting talented young persons to attend auditions at the Shri Krishen Mandir, 155 Lyle Lane, Felicity, tomorrow from 3 pm.

Surujdeo Mangaroo of the NCIC said the competition is open to persons 21 years and under.

He explained: “This competition which was originally a teen talent competition but it was revisited to accommodate young people less than 12 and over 19.”

It is one of the highlights of the annual Divali Nagar and this year’s prize package is valued at $75,000.

The NCIC is also inviting applicants for the Nagar Queens’ competition. Prospective delegates should be between the ages of 13 to 19 and must register for the preliminary judging of the competition. Delegates will display in traditional East Indian fashions and participate in debates about East Indian culture in TT.
