THE 2010 comedy theatre season is winding down and after a year of the “run of the mill” comedies, the best has certainly been left for last. After an absence of two years, Funny Farm Factory Productions has revamped and reworked the phenomenally funny, The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo (2010 Version).

Nothing has topped Norman Is That You and Mary Could Dance until now. Critics and general audiences love this play! So, finally, by overwhelming popular demand the Guapo’hoes are back at Queens Hall.

The play featurees five comediennes all on one stage and in a bachannal comedy for the new millenium. Penelope Spencer, Nikki Crosby, Cecilia Salazar, Debra Boucaud Mason and replacing the late Mairoon Ali is character actress Marie Christine in The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo .

It is written by Norm Foster, the writer of the hit comedies Rowlee and Daphne Make a Porno, I Love You Till Somebody Better Comes Along, What’s Sex Got To Do With It and Woman is Boss and adapted to the local stage by Penelope Spencer.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo (2010 Version) centres around four women surviving by the oldest trade in the world in the small village of Guapo. Patrons can be assured of a night of non-stop laughter mixed-up with some endearing moments as we catch a glimpse of life that most of us know very little about.

Directed by Debra Boucaud Mason who had us laughing in the recent comedy hit, Woman is Boss The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo , promises to be the highlight of the 2010 comedy season.

It opens at Queen’s Hall for three nights only from September 9.
