Manzanilla kids celebrate SEA success at Zoo
Monday, July 25 2011 During the last week of the school term, following the results of the SEA Examination, over 150 students who live around Nariva and attend Manzanilla Government Primary School and Plum Mitan Presbyterian Primary School were accommodated by the Manatee Conservation Trust with an educational visit to the Emperor Valley Zoo. The Trust which is a non-profit organisation based in Manzanilla undertook to treat the students as part of its social and environmental responsibility. This event was coordinated by the Trust’s President, Lisa-Ramkissoon-Maharaj, who also took the time to assist with the guided tours and Petting Zoo.
