Regency Recruitment and Resources Limited, as part of it’s celebration of 15 years delivering Human Resource management solutions to Trinidad and Tobago, recently donated US$15,000 to the Haiti Jaipur Leg Programme. The Jaipur Leg was designed in, and named for, Jaipur in India and is a prosthetic leg that is intended to be quick to fit and manufacture. It is used in developing countries across the world because of it’s relative low cost and durability. The Jaipur leg is so efficient that after it is fitted, a person can walk like a normal person without a cane or support, and can even ride a bicycle or climb a tree. Most patients return to their normal lives, jobs and communities.
