Guyanese prophets see windfall for TT

By RHONDOR DOWLAT Thursday, April 12 2007

The prophetic word coming from visiting Prophets Bishop Henry and Donna Browne of Georgetown in Guyana is that Trinidad and Tobago can expect an increase in the level of prosperity.

Henry, who claimed to always be in tune with the voice of God, stated categorically that the country was currently in a season of growth, but admitted that there would be many struggles and challenges.

“Trinidad and Tobago is in a season of growth but with many struggles, many obstacles; but those obstacles and distractions can be overcome, can be defeated, and the country can grow and increase its wealth,” Henry prophesied on April 1.

His wife, who also claims to have the gift of the Word of Prophecy, paid particular attention to the young people of the nation.

“They are people with vision but God is calling them to a life of purpose. Forget the doctrines of men and realign yourselves with God. God has assignments for you that would definitely lead to his Glory and wealth,” Browne urged.

The couple, founders of New Life Ministries church and school, spent a week preaching, teaching with hosting pastors Dr Winston and Angela Cuffie of Miracle Ministries Christ Castle Church in Chase Village, Chaguanas.

They brought along two of their three children — Joel, 20, and Angelina, 14.

Having been born-again Christians for the last ten years, the couple decided to take their life with God one step further and enrolled at the Zoe Ministries in Manhattan — at a training school for prophets — under Bishop E Bernard Jordan. After intense training, Henry and Browne were both ordained as prophets.

Henry and Browne believe they have been blessed as the “giftings of prophecy, ministry and God’s anointing” had fallen upon their children. Donna explained how God has been using her whole family to spread Christianity throughout the Caribbean and the United States.
