Isaac Blackman and the Love Circle on stage....

ISAAC BACKMAN, executive of JGN Records, producer, arranger and engineer, launched his new and official website: www.isaacblackman.com in fine red carpet style at the Veni Mange Restaurant in Woodbrook on Tuesday night, before a host of friends, family and well-wishers. That was not the only thing happening for the young artiste on the night. Blackman also released a new music video of his composition, “Old School Love”, a song that will also be part of the soundtrack of the upcoming Damian Marvano film, “Shanty”.

A teaser of the movie was aired on before 25-year-old Blackman took to the stage for a live performance of three of his songs,“Old School Love”, a groovy “Never Let Go” and his chart buster of 2007, “To the Ceiling.”

Now the leader of the family band —The Love Circle, Isaac, youngest son of the late Ras Shorty I told the audience on Tuesday “I really think it is a beautiful thing that we are doing here tonight and I am enjoying it and enjoying working on this project and with these guys.”

Earlier, Chad Marcano-Felix (West Indie Films rep) introduced LoveMedia 1.0 The New Experience, the website. It will be the medium through which Isaac Blackman and The Love Circle’s music will reach out from TT to the Caribbean and the rest of the world through multimedia and the mass media.

Marcano-Felix said LoveMedia is an exciting new stage in the evolution of the family’s music, which began with soca, then evolved into Jamoo.

“It gives everyone easy and unlimited access to the music, the videos, the shows and the information on upcoming events of Blackman and the Love Circle,” he explained. Blackman said he hopes to penetrate and develop the minds of the young people of TT and the rest of the world through his music. There was also another launch on the night - that of Uncut the Band, led by Jason Bishop, a guitarist who formerly played with Invazion and currently performs with the Love Circle. They entertained the guests after the formal part of the launch.
