Cooper wants her washing-machine fixed
Friday, January 22 2010 Delicia Cooper is frustrated as she has not had a working washing machine for more than two years. Cooper bought a twin tub from Standards on High Street, San Fernando, in December 2007. In February 2008, the washer stopped spinning, she called Standards and they said they would dispatch a technician. The washing machine worked for a short while, and began malfunctioning. On October 10, 2008, a technician was sent again, and she was told the problem was due to a faulty temperature switch. Since then, the washing machine has not worked, and she is asking for a refund, or a new washing machine. When Susan Pienkos, customer service manager for Standards, was contacted she said a report was not made about the washer’s malfunction after it was repaired. She said a technician will be sent to Cooper at no cost.
