Michelle George is hoping to finally get a functioning washing machine. George purchased a Kenmore washing machine last October at Standards at the corner of Queen and Henry Streets, Port-of-Spain and from the first day it started making a loud noise.

She brought it to their attention and they told her they will send a service person. No one came and when she called to query they told her she should send the machine to the service department.

George expressed her frustration after having several repairs and the problem continued.

When Susan Pienkos, customer service manager for Standards, was contacted she said George has the option of getting a brand new combo washer, or she can have full credit to purchase a separate washer and dryer.
