Basdeo Nepaul is happy that WASA has repaired a water leak at the front of his house.

Nepaul, of Lammie Street, El Dorado, Tunapuna, complained to Hotline, that gallons of water were wasting since last week Sunday.

He said it was important that WASA repair the leak, especially since WASA began its water conservation programme on February 3.

Nepaul said he wanted to do something as a citizen but could not reach WASA’s Customer Care department.

On Thursday, he called to say the leak was repaired one day after he complained to Hotline.

An official at WASA’s Corporate Communications department confirmed that the leak was repaired.
