Abbina Forgenie, of LP No 26 Longdenville Old Road, Chaguanas, also worries that if it begins to flood, the dirty water will enter her house.

Forgenie said since December the drain has been clogged with grass, preventing the free flow of water.



She said since the water has no where to runoff, it runs into her yard.



“Because the water has been there since before Christmas, a lot of moss has developed and when the rain falls, water enters my gallery. Someone needs to clean the drain,” Forgenie said.



An official at the Chaguanas Borough Cor-poration said he did not know about the drainage problem but promised to investigate.
