TTEC removes tree trunk

Tuesday, March 2 2010

The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (TTEC) has responded to a call by a Sangre Grande resident, who had asked that a tree trunk, which fell across El Reposo Road and was left across the drain, be removed. In a statement yesterday,

TTEC’s corporate communications manager Annabelle Brasnell said the tree was removed on February 24.

“It was initially cut, and partially removed, during an emergency response, after it fell and damaged our lines on February 17.

“Due to the nature of the situation, the most critical part was removed immediately. The other part was removed on February 24,” she said in a statement yesterday. Vernon Cauldero had complained that the tree trunk was left by TTEC officials in a drain in the area.
