PETRONELLA Mendoza, a labourer with the Unemployment Relief Programme, is pleading with senior officials at the URP to pay the outstanding money owed to her since last year.

Mendoza, 50, said she is yet to receive her salary for three fortnight jobs she did between October and November, last year, at the Seventh Day Adventist Primary School, Los Iros, Erin.

“I don’t know what to do again,” a fed up Mendoza told Hotline.

“I filled out three forms stating that I was not paid for three fortnights and submitted it to the URP office in Santa Flora. Up to now I can’t get my money which I really need.”

Mendoza said she is owed almost $1,700.

She said she has worked with the URP for the past ten years and added that she was a hard worker who deserved to be paid.

When contacted, Michelle Perez, communications officer at URP, said she will investigate Mendoza’s complaint.
