No pay for ancillary workers
Thursday, July 29 2010 FOR THE past two months, ancillary employees at Presbyterian run primary schools have not been paid their salary. The employees, who say they work for approximately $3,262 a month, said they have not been paid for the months of June and July. “The last pay we got was in May. June passed and then July and nothing. We work hard cleaning, scrubbing windows and floors of these schools to ensure teachers and students have a clean place to operate in. We’ve kept our end of the bargain but have nothing to show for it,” a worker said.
