THE EDITOR: It beggars belief that, on a day (August 9, 2012) when our Jamaican neighbours ran 1-2-3 in the Olympic Games 200m final, the state-run CNMG television made no mention whatsoever of this historic and fantastic accomplishment in its 7 pm sports news.

This speaks of poor management, poor sports coverage and a poor appreciation of sports history.

Maybe the government should just totally convert CNMG to a propaganda station as it has done with Channel 4.
