THE EDITOR: While many women, and some men too, ponder why there are only three women in TT’s largest ever 40 person Cabinet; why many irresponsible men are not being incarcerated for abandoning childcare of their children; why many women are more frequently humiliated in man/woman relationships than men, a billboard reads: “You won’t understand/It is a man’s world.” Generally people reject the idea that the word “man” implies “woman” because gender inequality distinguishes as less, a woman’s status, privilege, income and so on. Therefore, this advertisement is highly offensive as it sends an inappropriate message. It should be removed.
