EARLBROKES rifled in seven goals and surged into an early lead in this year’s Premier Division of the Digicel Tobago Football Associa-tion.
First Deon Thomas scored a double to give Earlbrokes a 2-1 victory over Bethel United who got their goal from Christopher Mark.
Then Earlbrokes won an eight-goal shootout against Mason Hall USSS 5-3.
Thomas again scored twice while Marvin Wright, Brindsley Reid and an own goal gave the Earlbrokes men their final tally. Kareem Robley fired in a hat-trick for the Mason Hall team.
Earlbrokes have now managed three victories from their three games played to total nine points two more than ex-champions St Clair’s Coaching School.
Coaching School too were in goal scoring mood, lashing in nine in their two weekend games.
They swamped Mason Hall USSS 5-0 on a hat-trick by Kino Proctor and other goals from Vernon Wilson and Kareem Yearwood.
Later, Coaching School whipped Castara Retreats Goal City 4-1 with both Proctor and Keon Samuel scoring doubles. Makesi Jackson got the consolation.
Sidey’s were also double winners at the weekend, shutting out Federal Northside 2-0 with goals from Kester Kent and Pavel Warrick.
They later dumped Roxborough Lakers 2-0 with Anthony Kent and Christopher Crosby getting one goal each.
In zonal action, Bethel Uprising have taken a four-point lead at the top of the Western Conference after victories over Signal Hill United 2-0 with Jerry Woods and Christopher McMillan scoring and then edging Carnbee/Mt Pleasant 1-0 with Anton Simon’s goal.
Youth Stars and NLCB Mt Grace United share leadershipo in the Eastern Conference.
The Youth Stars whipped Leeds United 4-2 with Gell Trotman scoring a hat-trick and Dillon Mascall the other. Sheldon Waldron banged in both for Leeds, but the Stars were held 1-1 by Calder Hall FC in their other game. The Mt Grace men were held 1-1 by Calder Hall in their only game with Christian Campbell scoring their goal and Gavin Richards getting the equaliser.
