A 22-YEAR-OLD man was chopped to death at Boissiere Village, Maraval, during the early hours of yesterday morning. His murder brought the toll to 411 for the year thus far.

According to a police report, at about 2 am Kurt Blaze was walking along Decca Street when he was approached by three men. Police said two of the men, armed with cutlasses, began chopping Blaze, killing him on the scene. Police are yet to determine a motive for the killing but are investigating that the incident stemmed from an argument Blaze had with three men earlier on in the night. Investigations are continuing.
