RBTT Redemption Sound Setters...
CARNIVAL gets into full swing today, and one of the highlights of the season is the National Panorama 2010 Finals at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
Today’s event will showcase ten medium and ten large conventional bands.
The National Panorama 2010 Champion will take home $1 million.
In the medium bands category, Steel Xplosion placed first at the semi-finals on January 31 with 270 points, followed closely by Valley Harps with 269.5 points and NLCB Buccooneers with 267 points. The other finalists are: Courts Sound Specialists of Laventille, Katzenjammers, Curepe Scherzando, Carib Dixieland, Couva Joylanders, CLICO Sforzata and West Side Symphony. For the large bands, Petrotrin Phase II Pan Groove scored 277 points, ahead of defending champs, PCS Silver Stars with 273 points, followed by TCL Group Skiffle Bunch with 272 points at the semi-finals. Neal & Massy Trinidad All Stars placed fourth with 266 points and there was a three-way tie for fifth place between Solo Harmonites, WITCO Desperadoes and Caribbean Airlines Invaders who all scored 260 points. The other finalists are: NLCB Fonclaire, RBTT Redemption Sound Setters and BP Renegades
