PRIME MINISTER Patrick Manning returned home quietly on Tuesday evening from London but up to yesterday remained unavailable for an interview on Udecott executive chairman Calder Hart’s surprise resignation and departure from the country last Saturday. Manning is expected to be in Dominica for two days from today, attending the 21st Inter- Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (Caricom) which will be held at the Fort Young Hotel in that country’s capital, Rosseau.

Manning’s last public appearance was at the sitting of the House of Representatives last Friday.

He left TT for London on Saturday (hours after Hart tendered his resignation) to attend the Commonwealth Day observance. Manning is the current Commonwealth chairman following TT’s hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting last November.
