ACTING PRIME Minister Winston Dookeran extended condolences to the family of accountant Neeshad Ali, who was brutally murdered at his Carapichaima home last Sunday and whose wife and one-year-old daughter was kidnapped, but luckily rescued hours later at a house at Orange Field Road.

Dookeran was addressing a large gathering on Wednesday night at the Edinburgh Hindu Temple, Old Southern Main Road, Chaguanas on the occasion of its 27th Anniversary.

Dookeran explained that the times are filled with hate and incrimination and said that one ought to react by “building a reinforcement within us”.

“For that outer world we want to shape, will indeed have some influence in determining that inner world for each one of us. That is the story that is deeply rooted in Hindu philosophy,” Dookeran said.
