Dust raises respiratory concerns
Tuesday, August 21 2012 RESIDENTS of areas in western Trinidad, devastated by flooding two weekends ago, have expressed concerns of respiratory illnesses, due to the dust left behind from the dried mud. However, Health Minister Dr Fuad Khan told Newsday he was not aware of his ministry receiving any complaints about the dust. He said because of the rainy season, the dust becomes a non-issue and was “not much of a problem.”
