YESTERDAY Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar announced Justice Anthony Thomas Aquinas Carmona as the sole nominee for the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Justice Carmona is a High Court judge of the Supreme Court of TT and was elected as a judge of the International Criminal Court — a post he was expected to take up in March.
