Fantastic Foursome coming soon to a theatre near you

Friday, February 22 2013

It was a “fantastic” Carnival with “fantastic” music, “fantastic” fetes and of course “fantastic Friday.”

And now comes the “Fantastic Foursome.” The Carnival may be over, but the bacchanal continues when the new comedy opens on March 1 at Queen’s Hall, Port-of-Spain.

Funny Farm Factory Productions and Ha Ha Ha Productions, the team that brought audiences 2012’s Hottmouth Granny will open their 2013 season with the romantic comedy Fantastic Foursome.

This time, Nikki Crosby leaves behind her cane and as she picks up the role of Val, an OR Nurse searching for the perfect romantic guy but ending up with Andy (Errol Fabian). Fabian returns to his roots on the comedy theatre stage to play “loser” Andy, who is also searching for love and happiness but finding that is easier said than done in today high tech fast paced Trini world. The play also stars Penelope Spencer and Mark Nottingham.

Fantastic Foursome is written by Norm Foster, the same writer that penned the hit comedies, The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo, Love Thy Neighbour, I Love You Till Somebody Better Comes Along and Girls on the Side, and is directed by Spencer.

The play runs at Queen’s Hall for three nights, from March 1 to March 3. Showtimes on Friday and Saturday is 8.30 pm and on Sunday there would be a matinee performance at 6.30 pm.
