257 visitors touch down in Tobago

Scandinavian airline, KUONI-APOLLO touched down at ANR Robinson International Airport, Crown Point, Tobago, at about 8 pm Tuesday bringing some 257 visitors from Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark on its inaugural flight to the island.
The charter flight will operate weekly out of Sweden, and fortnightly out of other areas in Scandinavia. Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Deputy Chief Secretary/Secretary of Tourism and Transport, who was on hand to greet flight captain Malaky O Curry and other crew members, described the occasion as a significant milestone in Tobago’s tourism industry now making inroads into the Scandinavian market, the third largest tourist market in Europe.
