Teachers for 2-day workshop

Friday, September 5 2014

STANDARD One and Two teachers will take part in a two-day workshop beginning today dealing with the new school curriculum.

An official from the Ministry of Education confirmed that the teachers will engage in the workshop pertaining specifically to the change in the primary school curriculum. The official said it will be done in phases so that all Standard One and Two teachers would not be out of class at the same time.

The workshop, which starts today and ends on September 10, will be done by districts, there being seven school districts in the country.

The ministry advised that this should not affect classes as substitute teachers are expected to cover for the teachers for the two days.
