Lengua parents threaten action
Tuesday, March 11 2008 FOLLOWING ten days of protest action by students and parents of the Lengua Presbyterian Primary School, a letter was sent to Education Minister Esther Le Gendre highlighting their concerns and plight. The letter to the Minister, a resident stated, warned that this Friday is the deadline for action by the Ministry or protests will be stepped up. The school’s PTA President Saudia Mohammed told Newsday the letter was hand delivered by Member of Parliament Nizam Baksh.
