KEES Dieffenthaller released his “Set List” of his third album of Kes the Band during a live performance held at Woodford Café in MovieTowne, on Tuesday night.
Before his live act, Dieffenthaller humbly thanked his family for all the support they had given him on his journey to where he has reached.
He also expressed his gratitude to the media and his fans for their own support stating: “A lot of people never thought we would have made it. But today we proved them wrong.”
Dieffenthaller’s sponsor, Digicel, represented by Maurita Laurent, also endorsed the artiste and expressed how pleased they were to be his sponsor. She also promised that her organisation will be around as his career grows from strength to strength.
Among those in attendance were the entire Dieffenthaller family including his parents Bunny and Deanna, fellow soca artistes such as Blaxx, Mastermind, Alison Hinds and Trini Jacob, and several fans who lapped up hits from the On in 5 Album that features “Til’ The Morning”, “We Own,” “Thunder” and “This Feeling”.
Kes The band also did their past hits such as “Right Dey”, “One Island”, “My Land”, “Lion”, “Caribbean Girl” and “Stay With Me” during their hour and a half long presentation.
The album itself also features “Come A Little Closer”, a collaboration that took place with the popular LA writing duo, Red Letter, “Our Prayer”, “Higher”, the theme song for The Reef “Come A Little Closer”, Stalker More of Me”, “My Girl”, “Madman Mix”, “De Remedy”, “Jep Sting” (remix) and the “Right Dey” (remix).
Dieffenthaller said after the album’s launch that “One in 5’ was the band’s third album in four years. “I think that is an amazing feat. I also think it is the best album so far.”
