CHAGUANAS West MP Austin Jack Warner has distributed back to school hampers in the Couva North constituency of Opposition leader Basdeo Panday. Warner, who also handed out the hampers in his own constituency, said he was approached by parents in his constituency who wanted help with school supplies.

“I was also approached by scores of parents in Couva North who complained of not seeing their MP. I was therefore encouraged to extend the gesture to the needy children there,” he said.

“I was touched by the response of constituents from Couva North and I have no alternative but to treat them as my own, therefore my efforts in Chaguanas West where possible shall be extended to the constituents of Couva North.”
