PRIME MINISTER Patrick Manning will paint “an economic picture” of TT when he delivers the keynote address at the opening of the “Day of the Americas” conference in Munich, Germany today. Manning left Trinidad yesterday to attend this conference.

A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said this conference is being hosted by the Business Association of Latin America and Manning will be “the first Caribbean head of government upon whom this honour is bestowed.” With over 600 high level executives and business leaders from Latin America attending the conference, the Prime Minister “will use the opportunity to expose and promote the propitious nature of the investment climate that exists” in TT.

Manning then travels to Dubai, capital city of the UAE, for follow-up talks about the TT International Financial Centre (TTIFC).
