Live feed on CNMG
By SEAN DOUGLAS Thursday, April 2 2009 MEMBERS of the public will be able to view the highlights of the Fifth Summit of the Americas live on CNMG television throughout the three days of the events from April 17 to 19 through its Channel 6 on cable television supplied by Flow. Sources said the public would see the highlights of the conference such as the arrivals of Heads of Government, opening ceremony, signing ceremony, closing ceremony and final press conference. However the working sessions including the Plenary Session on April 18 would not be broadcast. At that time CNMG via Flow would instead be broadcasting the visit by the spouses of the Heads of Government to the Pointe-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust. No broadcast will be done of the private retreat of the leaders being held on April 19 by Prime Minister Patrick Manning at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s.
