ADMITTING he once openly supported the PNM, Harry Harnarine, the former president of the Hindu Credit Union (HCU), yesterday admitted to hatching what was described as a “Byzantine” plot to get Winston Dookeran to leave the UNC and form the COP political party on the eve of the 2007 general election, which was won by the PNM.
