LEE-ANN LINGO and Breana Stampfli will square off in tomorrow’s women’s singles final of the Vita Malt Tranquillity Open Tennis Tournament at Victoria Avenue, Port-of-Spain.

Yesterday, both players needed straight sets to advance to the title decider.

The top-seeded Lingo, based in the United States, overcame a second set tie-break to oust fourth seed Trevine Sellier 6-2, 7-6 (4).

And Stampfli, the third seed, cruised past second seed Dayna Grazette 6- 4, 6-3.

Today’s semi-finals will take place from 4 pm, with top seed Yohansey Williams, sixth seed Fabien Dummett, fifth seed Luke De Caires and second seed Richard Chung. De Caires will face Chung and Williams will face Dummett.
