TT U-13 players in Curacao ITF tennis

Tuesday, August 24 2010

TRINIDAD and Tobago’s Ethan Ammon and Gianluc Robinson are competing in the ITF 13 and Under Caribbean Development Championships currently underway in Curacao.

Ammon is in group two alongside Bahamas’ Oneal Mortimer and Dimitri Celestina of the Netherland Antilles.

Ammon’s campaign served off against Celestina yesterday as the battle for top of the group began.

Robinson is in group eight with Tjimon Louisy of St Lucia, Guyana’s Daniel Lopes and Jahrell Massicott of Dominica.

Robinson was in action yesterday against Lopes in his first match and later took to the courts again to take on Louisy.

The tournament, which features players from Barbados, Jamaica, Suriname, Aruba, Antigua, Bermuda, Dominica Republic, Bahamas, St Lucia and TT, will conclude on August 28.
