Friday, June 22 2012

JOE PUBLIC whipped Defence Force 3-0 on Sunday, at the Youth Camp in Chaguaramas, in a Match Day Two fixture of the Blink/Bmobile National Super League.

The 2011 champs needed only a minute to open the scoring, through Ricardo Bennett. Ellis Dyett doubled the lead 10 minutes later while Donovan Derrick ensured that Joe Public will secure the win with the third, in the 70th.

Westside Superstarzs registered the biggest margin of victory, as they thrashed Biche United 4-0 at the St Anthony’s College Ground, Westmoorings.

Troy Thompson broke the deadlock after three minutes, while Kareem Freitas (71st), Cyrano Glen (90th) and Keron Cummings (90th) guaranteed full points for Westside.

Stokely Vale FC won the all-Tobago meeting against 1976 FC Phoenix 1-0, at Canaan in Bon Accord, courtesy of an 82nd minute strike from Deon Thomas.

Jason Boodram netted a first-half double, as Club Sando pipped Siparia Spurs 2-1 at the Palo Seco Velodrome.

Boodram found the back of the net in the 25th and 35th minutes, while Karim Gibson pulled one back in the 73rd.

FC Santa Rosa fell to their second defeat in a row, by a 1-0 result to Eagles United at the UTT Ground in O’Meara, Arima. Glenwell John got the goal for Eagles, after 29 minutes.
